The Fatal Styk Take Down Recurve Series is exactly what it is named after, it is fatal!  At Robertson Stykbow we like to keep a traditional sense while evolving and improving performance.  The Fatal Styk is a re-embodiment of our past Vision Falcon Series and we’ve made some changes to improve performance and the visual aspect of our Take Down recurves.  The internal taper of the bamboo core has been increased as well as the last third of the limb has been narrowed while the tip profile has also been reduced in size.  The benefits of the new Fatal Styk Series’ design contributes to a smoother drawing, quick recovering, limb that has less vibration due to its narrow configuration.  This change also reduces limb vibration and bow noise.  The Fatal Styk incorporates interchangeable limbs so that if you want an extra set of limbs there is no need to send your handle back and you can expect perfect alignment.  The new Fatal Styk limbs are also interchangeable with any Robertson Stykbow Take Down recurve made after 2004.

Our way of blending the art of our historical native tribes with our recurves is with a Tribal Flare. Tribal art has a cultural and in some cases religious, spiritual or magical meaning. The art was first done to enhance beauty, communicate stories, and decoration as well as to show the belonging to a certain tribe or group of people. With Robertson Stykbow you can choose to blend these traditions with your hunting weapon. Aesthetically the Fatal Styk Recurve series has three handle configurations for you to choose from:

• The X handles strengthens the handle and forms a distinctive X at the throat of the grip.
• The Y handle keep the same handle strength while combining two opposing types of wood on each side of the center radius or one wood type with a colorful radius.
• The Z handle encompasses the complex Tribal Flare design while using the highest quality woods that you select for this bow type while keeping the deflex strength in the handle.

With a Fatal Styk Series you also have your choice of aesthetics for veneer woods, handle grip type (standard medium wrist angle or high wrist angle), and handle wood(s).
