Robertson Stykbow teams up with Archery Past |
At Robertson Stykbow we realize to get the full performance out of our bows you need high-quality arrows. We also realize that the heavier the arrow’s weight the more efficiency we get from our bows. However, there are limits to this and we’ve decided that arrows that weigh between ten to twelve grains per pound of bow weight is optimal for most hunting situations. The breach and performance of a 600 grain arrow is far more superior than a 400 grain arrow. Yet another advantage of shooting heavier arrows is there is less to magnify shooting errors, a heavier arrow will absorb more energy from your bow as well as reduce vibration and noise. We prefer to use Douglas Fir arrows from Sherwood shafts which are the finest available. Robertson Stykbow has teamed up with Dave Doran from Archery Past to create for our customers a prestigious hunting line. Dave has been in the archery world for many years and he is not only a historian about the sport but a very fine arrow smith. At Robertson Stykbow we keep an inventory of Dave’s arrows on hand and we can also custom order them for you. We can match up your arrows so you get optimal flight out of your bow.
